We know: It doesn't feel like spring yet. Not even close. Rain has kept us inside for what feels like weeks -- thank goodness books make the best rainy day companions! Even with their company, though, we're starting to get a little antsy, and two returning product lines have us anxious for spring sunshine.
Last fall, we started selling Herschel Supply Co. bags, and we fell in love. Sure, they may cost a little more than you might spend on a backpack from say, Wal-Mart. But their quality -- durable cotton canvas -- is impeccable, and their new spring colors and patterns -- neons, polka dots, even birds -- are perfect for your spring break getaway. Plus, we're kind of smitten with the idea of using their new polka dot tote as a diaper bag. Best shower gift ever? We think so.
Not in the market for a new duffle? A shipment of
Out of Print tees and totes came in last week, and Carrie, Sarah, and the rest of the staff are in love. Their t-shirts -- which feature some of our favorite titles -- are soft and well-worn like the books we treasure, but the best part about Out of Print is their partnership with Books for Africa.
For every Out of Print product sold, one book is donated to a community in need.
So sure, there's still a bit of a winter chill in the air. But the sun is starting to come out, and in one month's time, spring will be here. We think a new bag or tee -- accompanied with a new read, of course -- is the perect way to celebrate!
