Book Review: Fablehaven by Brandon Mull

Review by Junior Blogger Rebecca Viohl

Do you believe in Magic? If you answered yes then good for you! If you answered no... then boy are you in for a surprise. In this captivating series, Brandon Mull tells the story of the siblings Kendra and Seth. They are ordinary kids until they discover that their grandparents are the caretakers of the magical preserve, Fablehaven. They also learn that a mysterious group of people, known as the Society of the Evening Star, are trying to release all the creatures, good and bad, from preserves like Fablehaven. Kendra and Seth must work together to defeat the Society.

I love this series because Brandon paints such a vivid picture of the magic in the world of his story. And of course I love the fairies too.

One thing I did not like was Brandon left too many questions unanswered at the end of the series. I wish he would have made another series or something after this one. I mean It's fun to imagine the parts authors leave out, but he left out WAAAY too much.

This series is great for someone who loves magic and adventure. Like moi!
