Fall Favorite: Jon Klassen

The Bookshelf first fell in love with his suspenseful, witty tale about a bear seeking his lost hat. Now, author and illustrator Jon Klassen is back with This Is Not My Hat, a story about a tiny fish with a very smart bowler hat -- one that doesn't belong to him. Filled with the same quirky illustrations, simple sentences, and on-the-edge-of-your-seat excitement found in Klassen's debut I Want My Hat Back, This Is Not My Hat is a new staff favorite -- one we're sure children and adults alike will love. (The book trailer is also incredibly fun.) Klassen's illustrations can be found in a couple of other Bookshelf favorites, too: Extra Yarn and The Incorrigible Children series.
