Fun Times at The Bookshelf Midtown
Our first month in Tallahassee has been awesome! The store opened officially on June 1 but we hosted our official Grand Opening last weekend (Saturday, July 14). We began the day with story time, reading Crafty Chloe and coloring Crafty Chloe activity sheets.
We had a great turn-out! Many of the kids who came to story time are crafty, too. They like to color, paint, and create art projects.
After finishing the book, more kids showed up and we re-read Crafty Chloe for a new audience.
Story time isn't the only fun we're having at The Bookshelf Midtown. Each Saturday in July, we have free camp crafts for the whole family. These Bookshelf friends are making pictographs and morse code messages.
Fun at The Bookshelf Midtown isn't limited to Saturdays only. Every Wednesday through August, we have Story Time at 11 AM, often hosted by a guest reader. Let us know if you would like to read!
