Saturday is Hobbit Day.

Join us in both of our store locations this weekend as we kick off The Bookshelf's Tolkien Week with a special Hobbit-themed storytime, complete with cupcakes and coloring sheets at 11:00. (Our littlest readers -- those five and under -- might not enjoy The Hobbit, but they can still enjoy coloring and a cupcake!) Then, all next week, we'll have in-store and online events and drawings to celebrate the genius of J.R.R. Tolkien and the 75th anniversary of The Hobbit. Read it for the first or the hundredth time before the movie releases on Dec. 14.
